Skip new apps for a bit. Improve Character AI’s output by tweaking how you prompt.

  1. Write a short “system” style intro at the start of every chat:
    “You are X. Personality: Y. Speaking style: Z. Goals: …”

  2. Give 2 or 3 example dialogues so it learns the tone you want.

  3. Use numbered instructions:
    “1. Stay in character. 2. Use short replies. 3. Avoid summarizing.”

  4. If it drifts, quote the rule it broke and restate it.
